Baptism is how you say, out loud and in front of the people who love you, that you belong to Jesus now.

Why Baptism

Baptism isn't about having it all figured out. It's about saying yes to something Jesus already modeled for us. He didn't need to be baptized, but he chose to anyway, because obeying the Father mattered more to him than skipping a step that looked unnecessary (Matthew 3:13-15). That's worth paying attention to.


Here's what it means, in simple terms. It's you telling the people who love you, out loud, that you belong to Jesus now. It's a picture of the old version of you being laid down, the way Romans 6:3-5 describes being buried with Christ, so a new life could rise up in its place. And it's you joining a family that isn't held together by blood, but by the same Spirit every believer shares (1 Corinthians 12:13).

Registration includes a short Baptism Class the same morning, one hour before your service.


We'll cover what baptism means, what to expect in the water, and answer any questions.


Baptism Classes are held in the Big Room, just outside the Atrium.

Questions You Might Have

If you were baptized as a baby, or before you really understood what it meant, we'd encourage you to be baptized again — this time as your own choice, reflecting your own desire to follow Jesus.

Whichever one lines up with the service you're being baptized in.

If you are being baptized at the 9:30 am service, attend the 8:30am class. If you are being baptized at the 11:30 am service, attend the 10:30am class. Registration will confirm your time.

Wear dark clothing and something you don't mind getting wet, a towel and a change of clothes. We'll have a place for you to change afterward.

Yes! Baptism is meant to be seen. Invite the people who've walked this road with you.

Anyone who is a Christ-follower and has already been baptized (family member, a friend, or a staff member, etc).
