Biblical Unity

Biblical Unity

At the Vineyard, our hope is that every nation, tribe, people, and language would find a home here, together. Scripture gives us a picture of what that looks like fully realized: a great multitude, too many to count, standing before the throne, worshiping the same God (Revelation 7:9-10). That's not just where history ends. It's the reality Jesus died to make true now.

We believe the heart of the gospel is a whole world reconciled to God (John 3:16), and the heart of our mission is to make disciples of every nation, not just our own (Matthew 28:19). We live in the tension of the now and not yet, where division and mistrust still run deep, and God's invitation to unity meets us in the middle of it.

Paul writes that a church built from different ethnicities and cultures doesn't just look diverse. It displays the very glory and beauty of God. So we get to enter that tension as partners with Him, choosing to embrace God by embracing and valuing the people He's placed among us.

Honor & Celebration

Throughout the year, we pause together to recognize the different cultures, histories, and stories God has woven into our church family. We believe unity grows stronger when we take time to honor one another well.

Multiethnic Celebration Sunday

Once a year, we celebrate the diversity God has built into the Vineyard. Every culture reflects something true about who God is, this is a chance to recognize and be reminded that we're better together.

Hispanic Heritage Celebration

Each fall, we celebrate the history and culture of Hispanic Americans with roots across Latin America. Our own Hispanic Community includes members from twelve different countries, and their story is part of our story.

Black History Month

Every February, we come together as one church body, unified in Christ, to celebrate and learn about the history and contributions of Black Americans.

Formation

Growing in unity takes more than a Sunday. That's why we offer resources and opportunities to help you keep learning and growing throughout the year.
