"My life has been one marked with disappointments, hardships and all forms of abuse. Then I took EHS, during this course I uncovered some hard truths: not only had I been numbing/surviving my past pains (which is far from healing) but my life experiences had negatively affected my view of and relationship with God. And in turn warped my view of myself.
This course has made me feel seen by God. I am working through my past and current hardships with a Christian therapist, I am being discipled and I am building Christian community that knows the real me with all of my hurt and all the brokenness — and love me anyways.
