Tips for your first visit to Vineyard Kids (VK):

  • Park near the Family Entrance on the right side of the building. 
  • Stop by the Info Area in the lobby and let us know you're new!
  • Our team is here to guide you through check-in and where to go.
  • Try to arrive a few minutes early to get your child checked in.
  • Save time by pre-registering your family.

All Vineyard Kids volunteers are carefully trained and background checked before serving.

We follow a strict check-in process to ensure the safety of your child. Children will only be released to adults with tags that have a matching number to the child's tag.

Our staff and volunteers are trained on safety protocol in the event of an emergency, including fire, tornado and active shooter. 

The first time you visit, you'll need to complete the registration process. Once you're in the system, you'll use a computer in the lobby to check your child into VK. Each child wears a name tag with the last 4 digits of their parent's phone number,

When you pickup your child, VK volunteers will check your child's name tag to confirm the number matches the adult's tag. Children will only be released to adults with tags that have a matching number to the child's tag.

Our baby- and kid-whisperers are on the case! We work to engage your child through gentle redirection, engaging in play, and meeting their needs. Often, kids stop crying within just a few minutes.

Should your child continue to need their grownup after about 15 minutes, we’ll put your number up (the same one on your sticker that day) in the auditorium to let you know your child needs you.

The four digits on the sticker you receive at pick-up will be displayed on a small screen in the Auditorium to let you know your child needs you. This number is also on your child's name tag, and is the last 4 digits of the phone number provided at registration.

Our nursery provides diapers, wipes, and snacks. If your child may need a bottle or a comfort item like a pacifier or favorite blanket, please pack those and let the team know where they are and when they might be needed.

Kids who are aged kindergarten and younger are offered a snack. Kids are offered pretzels and animal crackers and our youngest friends are offered puffs. Ingredient lists are available upon request.

Please let us know if your child has allergies, medical needs, or behavioral needs so we can best assist your family.

Children should be symptom-free and fever-free for 24 hours before going to Vineyard Kids.

Low teacher-to-child ratios means each child gets individualized attention. Babies are cared for in a 2-1 ratio, with the ratio increasing as kids get older.

Throughout Vineyard Kids, kids are placed into small group environments so they can build relationships with other kids and their leaders as they learn about Jesus together.

Childcare is separate from our Vineyard Kids ministry, which is free of charge during our Sunday services.

Childcare is offered for young children (infants to 5th grade) during some classes, groups and events on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. See your group or class leader to confirm whether or not childcare is offered for your class or event.
