The Vineyard Movement started in California in 1974 with the first Vineyard church, which quickly grew into a network of churches across the United States centered on following Jesus in everyday life.
As the Vineyard movement expanded, the Cincinnati Vineyard was planted in 1985. The church met in homes, rented spaces, and anywhere it could gather as it grew. We moved into our first building on Crescentville Rd. in 1989, then to the current campus in 1999.
From the very beginning this church served people in need, and over the years this focus expanded.
Our congregation gave generously to open The Healing Center in 2008, which became a busy hub offering over 50 services—from groceries to job coaching to prayer—to meet people wherever they have a need, all in a space designed to reflect the value God places on every person.
